Sharing 2 new items: First the 2 shims you need to be able
to completely remove the side stand, and then the new more race ready front
brake pads from Performance Friction. Same compound (#13) as I used on my old
1098. To my shock of the 8 mm thick pad only 3 mm is friction material and the
rest (5 mm) is all metal. Not many track miles there. Decided to order SBS Dc
and see if they have a thicker pad.
Hopefully I get more stuff to be able to start....
