One of the advantages of the 899 is that I finally can get a
seating position that works better, and therefore I went for the saddle and the
tank extension that will force me to sit further back and be able to hang off better
I dont have trouble with the OEM seat, but I do slide forward more than I like under hard braking. That tank extension might be for me! how do you find it after having it some time?
Works really for the reason you mention, to sit further back. The original position is comfortable for street riding but doesn't work well for me on the track
